FEW IMPORTANT TIPS TO LOSE WEIGHT !!!!
Good news for all those wanting to shed off those extra kilos ... Here are a few tips
● Drink 10 - 12 glasses of water / day
● Exercise / brisk walk for 45 mnts
●Avoid all sweets , sugar , refined and processed food items
● Have 5 small meals in a day
● Dinner to be taken by 7 pm , and alternate days have a NO CARBOHYDRATE dinner.
● Increase the quantity of vegetables
● Have a glass of vegetable & fruit juice mix ,1/2 an hour before breakfast
RECIPE : HEALTH GREEN JUICE
INGREDIENTS
3-4 leaves of spinach
few coriander leaves
1 small carrot
1 tomato
METHOD
Blend all the above ingredients in a mixer
Add a pinch of black salt
Serve fresh .
Do not seive
This is a tried and tested recipe for weight loss , but should be taken regularly for 2-3 months .

Healthy Breakfast / Dinner option
RAGI DOSA
INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup Urad dal
1/2 cup beaten rice
1 tsp fenugreek seeds
3 cups ragi powder
METHOD
1) Soak Urad dal+ beaten rice + fenugreek seeds overnight.
2) Then grind in the mixer
3) Add ragi powder
4) Make a paste
5) Leave it for fermentation for 6-8 hours
6) Make dosas and serve hot with tomato chutney / green chutney
HEALTH BENEFITS OF RAGI
1) Helps in wieght loss and Is gluten free .
2) Increases bone strength.
3) Controls Diabetese : due to its high content of dietary fibre , low glycemic index which helps to maintain blood sugar .
4) Helps in relaxation : as it has antioxidants .
5) Reduces cholesterol.
6) Good source of proteins and amino acids
7) Helps in digestion
8) Reverts skin ageing
9) Increases lactation : Ragi is a good source of nutrition for new mothers .
10 ) Treats Anaemia : as it is a good source of iron
