Delicious oats khichidi

Ingredients  (serves 4 people)

Oats 1cup (80gm)
Beans 50gm finally chopped
Carrot 1 - diced into small pieces
cauliflower 1cup - cut in small pieces
Capsicum 1 - cut in small pieces
Salt to taste
Water - 2 cups
Red chilli powder and turmeric powder (optional)



Method
Boil 4 cups of water.
Add all chopped vegetables .
Add salt and boil till veg are cooked .( approx. 10 minutes)
Then add oats and stir for 3-4 minutes till oats are cooked.

Serve hot with green chutney/ curd .

Calorie value ( approx.)

Oats 80 gm - 292 cal
Vegetables- 150 cal
Total cal - 442 cal (for 4 people portion)
Per serving- 110 cal

This dish is very filling and healthy. So try it out as a new meal option!
