Ingredients
For kadhi :
Besan-2tbsp
Oats-1tbsp
Curd-100gm
Turmeric powder-1/4tsp
Water-2glasses
salt-to taste
For pakoras:
Besan-1tbsp
Oats-1tbsp
Onion-1small chopped
Carrot-1 grated
Spinach-5-6leaves
Red chilli powder-1/4tsp
Garam masala 1/4tsp
For seasoning:
Asafoetida-a pinch
Jeers seeds-1/4tsp
Coriander seeds-1/4tsp
Methi seeds-1/4tsp
Few curry leaves
Method for pakoras:
1)Add chopped onions ,spinach,grated carrot and spices to besan . Add water and make a thick batter .
2)Boil water.Shape the mixture into balls and put them in boiling water.Cook for 10mnts on slow fire.
3)Drain out and keep aside.
Method for kadhi:
Beat the curd .Add besan ,roasted oats ,salt and turmeric powder .Add water and mix well.
Heat a nonstick pan .Add a drop of oil and add hing and fry well.
Add whole red chillies,cumin,coriander and Methi seeds and fry a little.
Add curry leaves,turmeric and chilli powder
Add besan and oats batter and cook the mixture stirring constantly till it starts boiling.
Then cook for another 20mnts in low flame occasionally stirring.
Add pakoras and cook for few mnts.Remove from fire and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
Serve hot .
